Callum joined EdgeMarc in 2012 and is responsible for business related activities and corporate strategy.
Callum attended the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand where he obtained a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with First Class Honors and also holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of New South Wales, and has undertaken executive education at the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. Callum has worked in the Appalachian Basin for 13 years, predominantly in operations in the Marcellus and Utica Shale, but also has onshore experience in Texas and New Zealand.
Callum serves as President and Chairman of the Board for the Appalachian Chapter of the American Association of Drilling Engineers, has served on various international committees for the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is a member of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Trust. Before working in the energy industry, Callum served as a Commissioned Officer in the New Zealand Army as part of the Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment.
Alan joined EdgeMarc in early 2014 as the corporate controller and has since held various roles of increasing responsibility within the organization. In March 2018, Alan was appointed interim-CFO with oversight responsibilities for the organization’s financial and strategic planning activities.
Alan received his undergraduate degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Thiel College and a Masters of Business Administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
Alan has worked in various accounting, finance, and corporate strategy roles at both public and private natural resource companies in the Appalachian Basin for more than 15 years and is a licensed CPA in the state of Pennsylvania.
Hugh joined the EdgeMarc team in April 2013 and is responsible for all activities related to asset development, business development, land, and permitting. In addition, Hugh also contributes to long term solutions for water strategies in PA and OH.
Hugh attended Virginia Tech and earned his degree in finance. Hugh has worked in the Appalachian Basin for more than 8 years predominantly in operations.
Prior to working at EdgeMarc, Hugh worked at Energy Corporation of America (ECA) as the Marcellus Field Operations Manager and at Stone Energy Corporation as a Water Superintendent Consultant.
Matt joined EdgeMarc in 2018 and is responsible for marketing natural gas and NGL products, as well as for managing the commercial aspects of EdgeMarc’s midstream agreements.
Prior to joining EdgeMarc, Matt worked for thirteen years in the energy industry, including various commercial and business development roles at Columbia Pipeline Group, CONSOL Energy and American Electric Power. He has also consulted for various organizations considering energy infrastructure investments across the United States.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a MBA from The Ohio State University.
Zach joined the EdgeMarc team in November 2015 and is responsible for managing the subsurface team of geologists and engineers. Zach also works closely with the Asset Development group to ensure optimization of field development to maximize value creation.
Zach earned his BS in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College, and has worked in the Appalachian Basin for more than 8 years. Zach is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Prior to joining EdgeMarc, Zach worked at Energy Corporation of America with engineering roles in Drilling and Completions, Production, and Reservoir before becoming the Reservoir Engineering Manager.
Jeff joined EdgeMarc in 2016 and is responsible for health, safety, and environmental leadership and oversight.
With 30 plus years of experience in safety, he began his career as an environmental health engineer, and ultimately became the General Manager of Safety and Industrial Hygiene at U. S. Steel. Jeff also served sixteen years at Allegheny Ludlum Corporation leading industrial hygiene, medical, workers’ compensation, and safety efforts. He earned both his BS and MS from the University of Pittsburgh in Biology and Industrial Hygiene.
He was an active member of the American Iron and Steel Institute’s Occupational Health and Safety and the World Steel Association’s Committee on Safety and Occupational Health; having chaired both organizations. He is certified in comprehensive practice by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. Jeffery is also a member of the Board of Delegates to the National Safety Council and has served on the Board of Trustees for the Industrial Heath Foundation.
