Brian joined EdgeMarc in 2014 and is responsible for financial and administrative oversight.
Prior to joining EdgeMarc he spent ten years at a publicly listed global chemicals and industrial products company where he served as Senior Vice President of their global chemicals business unit and held the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Previously he was Chief Financial Officer for a subsidiary of an Italian owned entity that was active in the global engineering and construction industries.
Brian started his career after university at Price Waterhouse where he spent ten years working with clients in oil and gas and manufacturing. He is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
Callum joined EdgeMarc in 2012 and is responsible for all operations related activities including Drilling and Completions, Production, Land and HSE.
Callum attended the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand where he obtained a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with First Class Honors and also holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of New South Wales. Callum has worked in the Appalachian Basin for 10 years, predominantly in Drilling and Completions in the Marcellus and Utica Shale, but also has onshore experience in Texas and New Zealand.
Prior to joining EdgeMarc, Callum worked at Energy Corporation of America where he held the role of Drilling and Completions Manager. Callum serves on the board of directors for the Appalachian Chapter of the American Association of Drilling Engineers and sits on the International Membership Committee for the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Before working in the energy industry, Callum served as a Commissioned Officer in the New Zealand Army.
Hugh joined the EdgeMarc team in April 2013 and is responsible for all activities related to asset development, business development, land, and permitting. In addition, Hugh also contributes to long term solutions for water strategies in PA and OH.
Hugh attended Virginia Tech and earned his degree in finance. Hugh has worked in the Appalachian Basin for more than 8 years predominantly in operations.
Prior to working at EdgeMarc, Hugh worked at Energy Corporation of America (ECA) as the Marcellus Field Operations Manager and at Stone Energy Corporation as a Water Superintendent Consultant.
Ganesh joined EdgeMarc in 2013 and is responsible for leading Strategic Planning, Decision Analytics, and Commercial Development activities at EdgeMarc. Prior to joining EdgeMarc, Ganesh served six years at CONSOL Energy, a publicly owned Pittsburgh based producer of natural gas and coal in various corporate development leadership roles. Ganesh previously served in a variety of engineering, operational, and project management roles for Consolidation Coal Company. Ganesh is a Professional Engineer and graduated with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. He also has a MBA from the Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to joining the Oil and Gas industry, Ganesh served on the Virginia Mine Rescue team.
Ganesh has previously served on the board of the Ward Home and the Brashear Association in Pittsburgh.
Alan joined the EdgeMarc team in February 2014 and focuses on activities related to financial and cost accounting, external reporting, treasury, internal controls, and corporate financial planning, as well as project economics and corporate strategy.
Alan received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Thiel College and a Masters of Business Administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon.
Alan has worked in various accounting, finance, and corporate strategy roles at both public and private company natural resource producers in the Appalachian Basin for more than 10 years and is a licensed CPA in the state of Pennsylvania.
Zach joined the EdgeMarc team in November 2015 and is responsible for managing the subsurface team of geologists and engineers. Zach also works closely with the Asset Development group to ensure optimization of field development to maximize value creation.
Zach earned his BS in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College, and has worked in the Appalachian Basin for more than 8 years. Zach is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Prior to joining EdgeMarc, Zach worked at Energy Corporation of America with engineering roles in Drilling and Completions, Production, and Reservoir before becoming the Reservoir Engineering Manager.
Jeff joined EdgeMarc in 2016 and is responsible for health, safety, and environmental leadership and oversight.
With 30 plus years of experience in safety, he began his career as an environmental health engineer, and ultimately became the General Manager of Safety and Industrial Hygiene at U. S. Steel. Jeff also served sixteen years at Allegheny Ludlum Corporation leading industrial hygiene, medical, workers’ compensation, and safety efforts. He earned both his BS and MS from the University of Pittsburgh in Biology and Industrial Hygiene.
He was an active member of the American Iron and Steel Institute’s Occupational Health and Safety and the World Steel Association’s Committee on Safety and Occupational Health; having chaired both organizations. He is certified in comprehensive practice by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. Jeffery is also a member of the Board of Delegates to the National Safety Council and has served on the Board of Trustees for the Industrial Heath Foundation.
Steve joined the EdgeMarc team in September 2016. He is a Petroleum Engineer, Geologist, and Attorney who has over 35 years’ experience managing day to day production, drilling and completion operations, as well as addressing all aspects of land, legal, and regulatory compliance matters.
As Keating Energy’s Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel, he spearheaded Keating Energy’s Texas operations from an oil and gas startup to a successful operating company focused on production acquisitions, exploration, and development. As the non-operated asset manager for Eclipse Resources, Steve managed the joint development of Utica Shale projects with various industry partners throughout Southeastern Ohio. Steve is a licensed Attorney, a Registered Professional Geologist, and holds a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law, a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology both from the University of Pittsburgh.
